Download UMLStudio
UMLStudio runs on all 32-bit versions of Microsoft Windows.
When you download and install UMLStudio, it will run in freeware mode.
This means that the software is fully functional, except that you cannot save large projects.
Versions 3.0 to 7.2 use the same license key. Version 8.0 requires a new license key.

Download UMLServer
UMLServer runs on all 32-bit versions of Microsoft Windows.
When you download and install UMLServer, it will run in freeware mode.
In this mode, the server will serve up to 5 freeware UMLStudio licenses.
It also allows you to check-in/out projects that are up to 5K in size.
To get the full benefit of UMLServer, you'll need at least 4 UMLStudio
licenses. UMLStudio license information can be entered into UMLServer
to turn them into floating licenses.
- NOTE: if you downloaded Build 250 recently, please discard it and download Build 251 instead. Build 250 had a version control problem.
- UMLServer, Version 2.0, Build 251 (for UMLStudio 8.0 users), released on 8 Oct 2007 (approx. 1.95MB)
- UMLServer, Version 2.0, Build 241 (for UMLStudio 7.x users), released on 4 Sep 2007 (approx. 1.9MB)
NOTE: You must also install UMLStudio on the PC on which you install UMLServer.
You must ensure that any custom notation templates that you develop and use, are also placed on the
server so that UMLServer can access them (via UMLStudio).
Download POMS
POMS runs on all 32-bit versions of Microsoft Windows, except for Win 95/98. A Linux version will be available in
the near future.
When you download and install POMS, it will run in freeware mode.
This means that the software is fully functional, except that you can save up to 10 objects of each type
(e.g., 10 projects, 10 issues, etc.).
Before installing POMS, you must install:
- J2SE JRE or JDK. You should install the JDK if you intend to run a POMS server as a Windows Service.
Otherwise, JRE will be sufficient. You can download the J2SE JRE and JDK installation executables from:
- Firebird Database Server. You can download Firebird from:
We strongly recommend that you print and read Chapter 1
of POMS's User Guide, before installing the software. It provides detailed information about deployment options and
correct configuration.
